Route 3

Route 3 Issue 1In America’s continuing war on terror, the nation has gone to questionable lengths to defend its sovereignty. Whether its extraordinary rendition, or utilizing unchecked private security firms, the nation has taken drastic measures to win.

At all costs.

Into this framework imagine the revelation of a “power” which could be utilized by those with questionable goals. This game changer could spell the utter annihilation of the nation’s enemies.

Such a source exists in the form of a broken Stone Mountain, GA teen: Sean Anderson.  A kid living an existence of being ignored by most, and treated like dirt by a remaining few. A series of events which began on a Virginian tobacco plantation in 1690 has caused Sean to inherit the power to set a fractured world on the right course.

Welcome to Route 3.

Characters

  • Sean Anderson
  • 316
  • Charlie
  • Shane Watkins and Rhames
  • image Sean’s the guy that you might miss at first glance. Ignored by many, and picked on by others. A geek. A nerd. A lame. That’s Sean to others. To himself, he’s just a guy who likes what he likes. He usually ignores the outside noise, and focuses on the things that he loves: the geek stuff. But when he experiences the loss of the one person who fully understands him, his mother, a woman who loved him unconditionally, a chink forms in his armor. He becomes broken with this sudden loss. Now his sleep is being plagued by nightmares. The dreams are fragmented, and disturbing to say the least, leading Sean to question his sanity. Little does he know that these are just a glimpse into a prophecy that will grant him the ability to change the world as we know it.
  • 316 The ultimate Company man. A product of the patriotic fervor generated by 9/11, 316 continues the fight with one goal in mind: defending his country. No matter the cost.

As he watched his country under attack inside its own borders, he decided that a personal call-to-action had been issued solely to him. As the years progressed, 316 found himself rising from the ranks of a lowly Army grunt to becoming one of the military’s most highly prized and sought after operatives. With experience gained from combing the caves of Afghanistan to his role in toppling a socialist regime in an obscure South American country, 316 has now been handpicked to lead the most important operation the Company has ever undertaken.
  • charlie A seemingly “forever” man, Charles is an unknown factor in the world changing events which are beginning to unfold. Often one step ahead of everyone, this homeless drifter takes on the task of becoming Sean’s mentor, and even savior, providing him with much needed guidance and focus. But what is Charles’ aim? Is it for good or ill?

All will be revealed soon enough.

  • shaneandrhames Head of the “Kin Boys” in the ATL, Shane Watkins and his loyal right hand man, Rhames, have made their way in Atlanta, hoping to get in on the action available in the quiet community in which Sean resides. And “get in on the action” they have. Whether it is the cops on the payroll, a reputation built on fear and intimidation or the seemingly endless capital generated by their drug trade, the “Kin Boys” have done well for themselves, slowly but surely taking the area by storm. But as with all enterprises, things have hit a snag. Competition on the streets is getting fierce and an infusion of extra money is needed. Seeing an opportunity to raise some much needed funds, their introduction into the unfolding web of complex events begins with a visit from a shadowy benefactor known as 316.
