Age
& gender: 36 Male. Still just a child according
to my elfin kin. Birthplace:
Chicago IL.
Marital
status: Single
First
comic you remember: Alien Legion, then I moved on
to independent comics and manga. I never cared for superheroes.
Your
comics dream job: Penciler I guess, but I'm much
more comfy just designing characters.
Your
comics influences & heroes: Hayao Miyazaki,
Ricardo Delgado, Masamune Shirow, Wendy Pini, and Stan
Winston. (I know he doesn't do comics, but I love the
work that comes out of his studio) Heh, actually THAT
would be my dream job.
Cats
or dogs?
I like both: dogs because of their loyalty and highly
social nature, and cats because despite their being
domesticated we really haven't changed what they are/were
meant to be. It's like having a minature tiger who won't
tear my head off. Heh.
Favorite
EVOLUTION story you didn't write or draw? The God
that Failed.
You
spot a person very attractive to you. Then he or she
says or does something, or you notice something about
him/her, that completely turns you off. What is it?
Airheads, ghetto attitudes, poor self-esteem.
Your
weirdest hobby: Videogames, Role playing games,
Wargaming. (guess I'm a gamer?) and costuming AKA Cosplay.
Your
3 favorite movies: Lord of the Rings (It really
was just one movie -- 9+ hours yes, but still one movie...heh),
Otaku no Video (you can't be a fan of any genre and
not like this one), and Aliens.
If
you could start a fashion trend, what would it be?
Everyone would have to wear pointed ears on a certain
day. :D
Your
comics pet peeve: Switching artists midway through
a story. That's one reason why I dumped superhero comics
early on.
One
superpower you'd like to have: Invulnerability.
Then I'd take martial arts and be an unstoppable butt-kicking
machine.
Betty
or Veronica? Why, when I could have Dawn and Laura
Croft! :D
What
was your first original comic or character and how old
were you when you created them?
That
would be the God Emperor of the Valshir empire. When
I was a kid (around 12 or so) my friends would always
play the "good guys" which left me always
playing the villan. It started off with action figures
and then evolved into comics and RPGs. Needless to say,
nobody can do evil like I do. Heh.
